The Mortal instruments is a six book series written by Cassandra Clare. These amazing books are about the Shadowhunters of the New York Institute. Shadowhunters are a race of human and angel hybrids which protect the mundane/human world from demons, while also keeping downworlders in line. Downworlders are vampires, werewolves, the fae, and warlocks.
The series, The Mortal Instruments, consists of the following six books, City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire, in that order. These follow the story of a sixteen year old girl, Clary Fray, living in New York and her discovery of the shadow world. After being hidden from it, Clary Fray is thrust into this world and discovers that she is a shadowhunter. Anywhere she goes so does her best friend, Simon Lewis, who is also thrown into this world but as a mundane. They meet the golden boy, Jace Wayland, and his adoptive family, the Lightwoods, who are also shadowhunters in the New York Institute. Together Jace, Clary, Simon, Isabelle and Alexander Lightwood need to find the mortal cup and stop Valentine from accomplishing his evil goal. Secrets and lies are revealed that just might break even the best of the shadowhunters.
If you like to read fantasy, this series is definitely recommended.

Grammy Awards take place every year, and many people go to the awards ceremony, and many of them watch it on TV. This year was the 59th Annual Grammy Award and Adele won both record of the year and album of the year, and also the most Grammys. Chance the Rapper came in second. Beyonce did win one award, for best urban contemporary album. The ceremony featured a tribute to Prince, who died this year.
The program was excellent!
Did you go to the dance on Friday, February 3, 2017? If you did not, here is what happened. The dance started at 7:00 p.m. and ended at 9:00 p.m. It was a great time to hang out with friends after school. After about an hour, everyone in the gymnasium did the Harlem Shake. The DJ played many songs that almost everyone knew and enjoyed.
With the after school enrichments beginning, Gaming Club has been enjoyed by many of the participants.
“Gaming Club has been an amazing way to hang out with friends. I would like to encourage people who aren’t in gaming club to join next time,”
All of the participants agreed on this quote. This club is an amazing way to become a better gamer and have some fun with your friends.
The play Hamilton is an amazing story about Hamilton, a man who lived in the 1700s and changed the course of America as we know it. I have asked many people about their experience of watching Hamilton and I have heard nothing but good feedback. Many critics have said that the play is too good for words and that everyone should see it.
