Big Deeds In Small Packages

by Cheryl Jenkins

Hi Palombi Lancers! Last week we had a wonderful school trip to the amazing Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to do some volunteering.  It was inspiring. Many of our Palombi students went all fmscout when making their manna packs.

In total our school packed 133 boxes of food for kids of all ages in Nicaragua.  Just in that trip alone we provided food for about 79 kids over a period of one year.

How FMSC works is that a certain number of people come to the Feed My Starving Children building which is located at 742 E Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048. Volunteers get a fmsc2“stylish” hair net. Then the staff explains what the volunteers will be doing and making. After getting that explanation our Palombi workers were  off and running.

Any day of the week you can come on down to 742 E Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048 and help feed children everywhere. You can make a difference!!!
