CPR is an afterschool activity that many Lancers signed up for. That’s right! Students are learning this lifesaving technique that is used to restore oxygenated blood flow to the vital organs if a person stops breathing or their heart stops beating effectively. For example, if somebody drowns, our brave Lancers can save them after learning how in this CPR class.
Here are the beginner steps for CPR. First of all call for help! That’s the most important step! While you’re waiting for help to come, if the person is still not breathing normally or not breathing at all, begin chest compressions. Push down in the center of the victim’s chest 30 times quickly. Repeat the chest compressions until help comes. This takes much bravery to do, and our Lancers definitely have it in them to do this! Go Lancers!
